Josef brings over 38 years of distinguished experience in international civil aviation certification, compliance, and aviation law. Bridging the gap between high-level regulatory strategy and rigorous physical engineering, he is a rare industry expert who combines an advanced M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering with full certification as an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic.
As an EASA-accredited Head of Design Organisation (HoDO), Head of Airworthiness (HoA), and Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE), Josef has built trusted, decades-long relationships with civil aviation authorities around the world. His structural leadership goes far beyond managing internal departments; he specializes in creating entirely new Design Organisation Approvals (DOAs), writing comprehensive DOA handbooks, and establishing operational frameworks for entire companies from the ground up.
Throughout his career, Josef has directed complex modification and certification programs from initial concept to final authority approval. He offers comprehensive, end-to-end testing and validation lifecycle expertise, with deep hands-on experience developing test plans, securing authority sign-offs, executing physical testing (including Stress, Thermal, Life Cycle, and Fire tests), authoring validation declarations, and closing final FAA/EASA certification loops.
Under his leadership, International Aerospace GmbH consistently delivers measurable results, drastically reducing program cost, timeline, and risk while maintaining unyielding technical precision and regulatory integrity.

Manuel Alexe brings senior-level expertise in financial leadership, corporate finance, and strategic advisory to International Aerospace GmbH. As Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for the Company’s overall financial governance, compliance framework, budget and financial planning, as well as investor relations and corporate finance activities.
With extensive experience in structural strategy development and high-level financial advisory, Manuel supports the organisation in building robust, scalable financial structures and executing strategic initiatives that strengthen long-term value creation. His mandate encompasses the full spectrum of financial, compliance, and corporate governance matters, ensuring transparency, regulatory integrity, and alignment with the Company’s growth objectives.

With more than 40 years of experience in electronics, avionics, and software engineering, Matthias brings a deep technical understanding paired with a pilot’s perspective. His background spans telecommunications, systems integration, and software architecture, complemented by decades of hands-on aviation experience as a licensed commercial pilot.
At International Aerospace, Matthias supports the development of advanced avionics concepts and data-driven system solutions with precision, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset.

Diego Casadei
Diego holds a PhD in Physics, PMP® certification, and an Executive MBA. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience in highly regulated, safety-critical engineering environments, with deep expertise in systems architecture, control systems development, and software solutions for aerospace and mission-critical applications.
His background spans space instrumentation, avionics, particle and radiation detection systems, and complex industrial modernization projects. Diego specializes in the design, integration, and validation of advanced technical architectures, combining scientific rigor with practical, results-driven project execution. He is known for delivering innovative, certification-oriented solutions that bridge deep technical insight with strategic implementation.
At International Aerospace, Diego leads systems and control initiatives, driving the architecture, development, and validation of advanced aerospace systems with precision, innovation, and a strong focus on rapid, reliable delivery.

CVE - Structural & Static Analysis
Christof Ruoss
Christof brings over 25 years of experience in aerospace testing, prototyping, and structural development. A graduate of the Swiss Flugzeugtechnikerschule HF, he began his career at SR Technics and later joined Bucher Leichtbau, where he led both static and dynamic testing programs, including the 16g stretcher certification for fixed-wing applications.
He went on to build and lead the test department at Marenco Swisshelicopter (later Kopter Group), where he developed advanced rotor and gearbox test stands for component and system validation under CS-27 and CS-29 standards.
At International Aerospace, Christof combines technical precision with practical innovation, overseeing structural and dynamic validation, load-path testing, and certification support under CS-23, CS-25, CS-27, and CS-29. He continues to apply his experience through ongoing R&D and prototype development projects in Switzerland.

Jessica brings a strong background in client management, HR administration, and organizational leadership. With experience as Account Manager and Team Leader in international staffing and engineering environments, she combines structure, empathy, and strategic focus to ensure smooth project coordination and partner communication.

CVE – Electrical Systems / Cabin Safety
Thomas K.
Our colleague brings over 25 years of experience in aircraft electrical design, integration, and cabin safety compliance. Educated at the renowned HTL Mödling in Austria, he built his career through key engineering roles at Bucher Leichtbau, Aerolite, and Kopter Group, contributing to major EASA Part 21J programs and serving as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for electrical and cabin systems.
With a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of certification processes, Thomas combines technical precision with practical insight, ensuring IA’s electrical and safety solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
